Event Title: Science Olympiad 3.0.
Participation: Around 150+ students from school, college, and university levels participated in this edition of the Olympiad.
Highlights: The competitors showcased their merit, intelligence, and creativity by presenting solutions to various complex scientific problems, making the entire event lively and inspiring.

Project Title: Integrated Coastal Resilience Hub: Citizen Science for Climate Adaptation and Pollution Change Management.
Funding & Grant: Awarded a 3 Lakh BDT research grant from the "Youth Innovation Fund 2025: Sponsoring Green Idea" competition, organized by ICCCAD and funded by the Government of Sweden.
Highlights: A multidisciplinary team of 5 student researchers, supervised by Dr. Neaz Al Hasan, embarked on a two-day field trip to the Sundarbans (Dublar Char and Hiron Point) to collect critical environmental data and lead citizen science initiatives.

Campaign Title: "From Campus to Coast: Cutting Plastic for Climate Action" (Plastic Collection Campaign-2025).
Date: May 11, 2025.
Core Objective: A dedicated effort by the GSTU Science Club to reduce plastic pollution within the university campus.
Leadership: The initiative was led by Dr. Neaz Al Hasan, Chairman of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Bioscience (FMB) and Advisor to the GSTU Science Club.

Organizer: Islamic University Science Club.
Event Title: 1st IUSC National Science Festival 2024.
Participation: GSTU Science Club Members.
Highlights: In the Poster Presentation category, Tanvir Islam Uday from the Department of Architecture secured 1st place. Additionally, Sakibul Alam Nirjon from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology achieved 3rd place in the same category. Furthermore, Sakibul Alam Nirjon also earned 3rd place in the Olympiad competition.
